From October 31 to November 1, a delegation from Paris Dauphine-PSL University, including President El Mouhoub MOUHOUD, Vice President Nicolas BERLAND, Executive DBA Program Director Bernard FERNANDEZ, and researcher Horacio ORTIZ visited Beijing. The delegation visited three prestigious universities: Beijing Normal University, Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University, and Beijing National Accounting Institute.
Visited Beijing Normal University
On the morning of October 31, President El Mouhoub MOUHOUD of Paris Dauphine-PSL University and his delegation visited Beijing Normal University. President Jun MA received the guests in the main building, with Vice President Zuoyu ZHOU also attending the meeting.
President Jun MA welcomed the guests. He pointed out that China-France relations are moving forward steadily, and the exchanges and cooperation in the field of higher education have played a positive role in promoting economic development and cultural exchange between the two countries. He highlighted that Paris Dauphine-PSL University and Beijing Normal University have already signed a macro-level cooperation agreement and a student exchange agreement. President MA expressed his anticipation for future expanded exchanges and collaborations between the two universities in various disciplines, including economics, management, law, mathematics, and foreign languages.
El Mouhoub MOUHOUD provided an update on the recent developments at PSL Paris-Dauphine University and shared ideas for collaborative programs with Beijing Normal University. He emphasized PSL Paris-Dauphine University’s strong commitment to cooperation with China and extended an invitation to Beijing Normal University’s faculty and students to visit and engage in exchange programs at PSL Paris-Dauphine University’s campuses in Paris, London, and Tunis.
Vice President Zuoyu ZHOU chaired the subsequent meeting between the two universities. He presented Beijing Normal University’s global development strategy and provided an update on the construction of the Zhuhai campus. Mr. ZHOU emphasized that both institutions are committed to establishing transnational, cross-border, and cross-industry mobility and integration, reflecting the concept of an ‘Interversity.’ He expressed his anticipation for further deepening cooperation in various fields.
The meeting was attended by Zhongwei TANG, Party Secretary of the School of Mathematical Sciences; Vice Dean of the Law School, Ting HE; Director of the MBA Education Center at the School of Economics and Business Administration, Jianghua ZHOU; and relevant officials from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.
Visited Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University
On the afternoon of October 31, accompanied by the General Manager of ZHUOER Education, Yingjun ZHANG; El Mouhoub MOUHOUD, President of Paris Dauphine-PSL University, and his delegation visited Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University. The meeting was attended by Gang PENG, Vice President of Tsinghua University; Sai MA, Dean of the Academy of Arts & Design; Shubing DONG, Vice Dean; and Juandi HAO, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange.
Vice President Gang PENG, on behalf of Tsinghua University, extended a warm welcome to President El Mouhoub MOUHOUD and his delegations. He reminisced about the history of collaboration between the two institutions and highlighted the Academy of Arts & Design’s numerous strengths in the field of art and design. Vice President PENG expressed his anticipation for new collaborative ventures between the two universities in the realm of arts and design.
Dean Sai MA provided an overview of the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University, detailing its development history, academic programs, and international cooperation and exchange initiatives. He also outlined upcoming international academic events and extended a cordial invitation to the faculty and students of Paris Dauphine-PSL University, as well as other constituent schools of Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL), to participate in these activities.
President El Mouhoub MOUHOUD conveyed his gratitude for the warm reception by Vice President Gang PENG and the sincere invitation from Dean Sai MA. He provided a brief overview of the academic programs at Paris Dauphine-PSL University and the constituent schools of Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL). President MOUHOUD also expressed eagerness to collaborate with the Academy of Arts & Design in talent cultivation, faculty exchange, and international academic activities.
President El Mouhoub MOUHOUD and his delegation subsequently visited the art exhibition titled “The Cloth: Heaven and Earth Form – Artworks by Professor Wei LI” in the Textile and Fashion Art Design Department. They also toured various laboratories including those for metalworking, jewelry, printmaking, dyeing, textiles, automotive models, and 3D printing.
Visited Beijing National Accounting Institute
On November 1st, accompanied by ZHUOER Education General Manager Yingjun ZHANG, President El Mouhoub MOUHOUD of Paris Dauphine-PSL University visited Beijing National Accounting Institute (BNAI). They were received by Secretary of the Institute’s Party Committee Fengling ZHANG, and Vice President Professor Xuhong LI. Accompanied by personnel from the Graduate School and the Research Center, both sides engaged in discussions aimed at further enhancing cooperation.
**Secretary Zhang Fengling Welcomes President El Mouhoub Mouhoud’s Visit to Beijing National Accounting Institute**
During the meeting, Secretary Fengling ZHANG first extended a warm welcome to President El Mouhoub MOUHOUD and his delegations from Paris Dauphine-PSL University. She introduced the background of the institute and highlighted its achievements in establishing a new type of financial and economic think tank, cultivating high-level financial talents, and providing quality education for graduate students. Secretary ZHANG emphasized that the institute has always attached great importance to its exchange and cooperation with Paris Dauphine-PSL University, particularly noting the successful progress and significant achievements of their joint Executive DBA program.
Vice President Professor Xuhong LI of the institute further discussed with the French delegation topics such as alumni networking platforms, academic research collaboration, joint organization of international conferences, and faculty exchanges.
